![]() ![]() 2) he needs to be a dual wielder which is my own personal taste. 1) he needs to be versatile melee combatant (as less magic as possible) if that is even possible since he fights in arena as a gladiator he faces against different kind of opponents and sometimes outnumbered 1 to 2 or 1 to 3, he was also preparing his escape so he needs to be able to handle at least stealth at some point. Initially my characters aim to get Master of Nine dipping with 3 levels of bloodclaw master (tiger claw was my favorite discipline)īeing that said we decided to move to 5th edition after getting together from a 3 year hiatus (his master program moved him to otherside of country but for doctorate he returned being my roommate) My question would be what would be a good representation of this character? There are two important notes about this character. My swordsage also had abilities from Shadow hand just so when I decide to escape they would help greatly. ![]() My swordsage was unarmed variant because I got attacked while cleaning and it was made to me obvious that I need some insurance while I am butt-naked that I can still take care of myself lucky though it seems it won't be that much of an issue in 5th. My mentor was blacksmith of our little fishermen settlement and I learned weaponsmithing from him as well as how to use various weapons.Īs a player I am fond of two-weapon fighting and since this is not a campaign about who has the biggest dps or something I would like to keep it that way. During course of game lets say I level up as the situation demanded rather than on a set course since I was only player and my character was somewhat unique around the part of world where I am since only my character and his mentor were martial adepts (which his mentor executed as a traitor to empire in front of me at arena) I have two +1 gladius and a breastplate. My DM and I personally prefer rolling stats and with good luck i got the scores of 16, 16, 16, 14, 14, 6 which my current character being str 16, dex 17 (with 4th level increment) con 16, Int 14, Wis 14, Cha 6. My DM is an archaeology grad and currently doing his doctorate and he is very fond of ancient roman empire so I am in a spartacus-like setup at the moment infact currently I am a gladiator who is trying to revenge his family and friends and scheming while fighting in arena. The character started from warblade 1 and came all the way to his current situation. I will skip details about it in short in a low magic setting (magic exist actually in the world it is just the place I am currently in is a very low magic place) I am playing a warblade 3/fighter 1/swordsage 1. Me and a friend were having a one to one story going on for 3.5 for a while now. So I am not sure where to start so lets start with my current situation.
