You will also love the story’s fascinating setting and its absorbing ending. The Long Road Home is a fascinating story with scenes that children will enjoy. I loved that the children worked as a team to defeat their opponents and were courageous enough to go on a dangerous mission to protect the people of Omohafe. ![]() I found the children’s adventures entertaining and loved the characters they met along the way and the unexpected action scenes included. Sky and Ocean’s role is well-explained and involves fighting against the evil forces that want to take over the planet. I also found the story easy to follow since its central conflict gives it direction. I enjoyed West Hand’s vivid descriptions of Omohafe’s stunning scenery and beautiful skies. Sky, Ocean, and their friends travel to fulfill their destiny which involves protecting Omohafe and its people by stopping a treacherous being who wants to take their power. They discover that, at some point, their birth parents once ruled the land, and someone is after the power that their parents wanted them to have. ![]() Though everything in this new land seems fascinating, the sisters learn how their story connects with the history of Omohafe. They sparkle brightly like fireworks and are spread out above them. The stars in its sky are like nothing they have seen before. Sky and Ocean are mesmerized by Omohafe’s beauty.
